There’s something like a line of gold thread running through a man’s words when he talks to his daughter, and gradually over the years it gets to be long enough for you pick up in your hands and weave into a cloth that feels like love itself.

Anon. - My fear of risk taking only extends to activities that may induce co-pays and large insurance deductibles(Not to mention physical discomfort). I am fearless when it comes to rooms because I am too dumb to know better!

What I meant is that dads empower their daughters ( or not, I guess) and that your room is exuberant. Maybe there is a connection.

Oh My, Anon. I am typing with leaky eyes... My dad was the first guy I ever loved. The person who taught me "Girl Power" long before it was a catch phrase. Yes, there is a connection. You just reminded me of it.
